For those of you who purchase my clay sculptures, I hope they will give you many years of pleasure. When you are "Planting" my flowers in your garden, be sure that the stem rods go 3-4 inches into the soil so they are secure. They may sway gently in the wind and can be angled to suit you. However if you angle them be sure that the rod is firmly fixed to the flower stem, it can be glued with a permanent adhesive such as an epoxy or a plumber's adhesive for safety if you desire. All sculptures are designed to be displayed indoors or outside in the yard. However, because their structures may trap water, they must be protected from freezing or they will break. So bring the flowers indoors during the coldest months. The stems are removable for easy cleaning and storage, and flowers can be gently cleaned with warm soapy water and bleach if necessary. Enjoy their permanent blooming and bright colors!
Unlike real booms, they never need feeding and are drought-proof! Many of the flowers will hold rainwater and are appreciated by the birds that can perch on the center to drink safely. |
